Grape Varietal: 60% Cabernet, 40% Merlot.
COLOR: Intense red with initially violet reflections, which turn to garnet as the wine matures in the bottle.
AROMA: Broad vegetal fragrance characteristic of the Cabernet and Merlot varieties that make up the blend. Intense notes of ripe red fruit with delicate toasted nuances.
Taste: Pleasantly soft, with velvety sensations and notes of ripe fruit.
FOOD PAIRINGS: A sociable wine, it pairs well with meat dishes, game (even when spiced), and medium to long-aged cheeses.
SERVICE: Should be served at a temperature of 18-20°C and uncorked half an hour before serving.

PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES: Harvesting begins with the Merlot during the second week of September, followed by the Cabernet in the first week of October. The grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature along with the skins for 15 days, after which the wine is separated and left to mature in barriques and tonneaux for 12 months.
